At Trafford and Stockport Intact Projects we have created an environment where young people can experience some of the challenges and realities of independent living before taking on that responsibility for themselves. It is a place where mistakes can be made and difficulties overcome, where problem-solving is encouraged without the consequences that may be experienced if living unsupported. Intact Project sites have excellent transport links, Trafford and Stockport are served by extensive local and national train lines.

From the Trafford project the bus takes 15/20 minutes to Manchester city centre, the project is within walking distance to Firswood metro station which runs through to Sale Waterside where young people can access talk shop, YOT team, Phoenix futures (substance support) and Host housing for advise and support services.

Trafford college can be located just down the road a short bus ride from the provision.

We are a short walk from Chorlton village, you will find a good range of local amenities and shops including a newsagent, post office, barbers, hairdressers, grocers, a good quality takeaway and a value for money supermarket. The Trafford site is also in easy reach of the Trafford Centre, Salford Quays and development at Media City.

The Stockport provision is a short walk from the bus station located in Stockport centre, the bus takes approximately 25 mins to Manchester city centre, a new motorway network has created easier access and shorter journey times to all surrounding areas.

The project is within walking distance or a short bus ride to Juniper and Stockport colleges.

Stockport centre has a wide range of shopping outlets, includes a library and a leisure centre.

It also hosts Young people services to help with education and training. Youth central and Mosaic (substance support) are also located in the area.

There is a supermarket in close proximity, a health centre with pharmacy, an optician and a dentist just next door.
